Student Telephone Privileges

Students occasionally need to contacts parents during the school day. They may use the classroom/office phones by permission only. Students are strongly discouraged from using the phone to make personal after school arrangements. All after school personal/play arrangements should be prearranged before arriving at school in the morning. This protocol is in place to insure the safety of your child.

CELL PHONES

Cell phone use is not allowed at Blue Ridge during the school day. Students who bring cell phones to school must keep them in their backpacks. The school will not be liable for lost, damaged, or stolen electronics.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Electronic devices are not allowed at Blue Ridge or during after school programs like TALENT.

PARENT PHONE MESSAGES

Please make after school arrangements with your child before they leave for school in the morning. It is difficult to handle the volume of messages each day regarding last minute changes. Classroom disruptions need to be kept to a minimum as they interrupt the educational process for all children.
