4th Graders Enjoy Sour Grape

BR 4th graders enjoyed seeing how a frozen yogurt shop runs on a recent field trip to Sour Grape. Students were treated to a taster after their tour. Thanks to Sour Grape for their generosity.

 

Talent Show Revived at BR

Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs, Mrs. Jacobsen, Ms. Brennan, Ms. Fletcher, and Mrs. Prull revived a long-lost tradition of showcasing BR Students' talents. From songs, to magic tricks, to karate demonstrations - this year's show rocked!

End of Year Events

June 12th - K-5 Concert, 5th Grade Graduation 10:00 am

June 12th - Last Day of School (early dismissal at 12:00 pm)

 

1st Annual Student v. Staff Soccer Game

Students and staff faced off in the first ever Student v. Staff Soccer game. The game was a tie 2 to 2 and a special 3-D printed trophy now resides in the display case in the main hallway!

Last Day of School - June 12th

The last day of school is June 12th, we will dismiss at 12:00 pm. Thanks for another great year!

 

 

2nd Annual Bike Rodeo Huge Fun for All

2nd graders at Blue Ridge participated in the 2nd Annual Bike Rodeo. Organized by bicycle enthusiast and 2nd grade teacher, Cheryl Thonney (assisted by Ms. Dissmore), this event focuses on teaching students the proper way to ride a bicycle and to develop good safety habits. Volunteers from the community as well as staff members help make this day a success. A huge thanks to Specialized for donating brand new helemts for each student!
