Spring is nearly here, and it is time for many of our Spring Testing and Assessment windows to open. You can help your student have their most successful testing event by:
Setting an early bedtime
Making sure your student gets plenty of fresh air and exercise after school
Reading to and with your student
Practicing math facts
Limiting screen time
Making sure they eat a healthy breakfast
Extreme winter weather conditions forced the cancelation of six school days this school year prompting the school board to unanimously approve a calendar revision pushing the last day of school to Wednesday, June 14. The last day of school will be an early dismissal.
Six snow make-up days (school in session on these days):

Blue Ridge's Battle of the Books Team competed in the district's BOB competition Wednesday night at Sharpstein Elementary. The team placed 4th! Blue Ridge would like to congratuate the winning team from Edison Elementary. A special thanks to BR librarian, Janifer Sams for preparing the BR team for competition.
Blue Ridge First graders were lucky enough to get to tour the Walla Walla High School FFA Barn recently. Thanks to Wa-Hi and the FFA students for hosting us, we had a great time!
