School Lunch Hero Day

Blue Ridge Students and Staff will celebrate School Lunch Hero Day Friday, May 1st. Inspired by the Lunch Lady graphic novels by Jarret J. Krosoczka, this day is set aside to honor those women and men who work hard to feed students. The kitchen staff at Blue Ridge preps 7 services per day from breakfast and lunch to preschool meals and after school snacks, as well as dinner for our TALENT Program. They truly are the Super Heroes of our school. 





2015 BR BOB Team Wins 2nd Place

Librarian Linda Seibold poses with the winners of the BR Battle of the Books winners. This team competed against other teams from the district and placed 2nd. Way to go BR BOB Team!

Twin Day, Friday, April 3rd

If you thought you were seeing double at BR on Friday, April 3rd, you were right! Students and staff dressed as twins with another student or staff member. Twin Day is a yearly event at BR - everyone looks forward to being a twin for a day!

Family Science Night a Huge Hit

Thanks to all who attended our Family Science Night on the 16th. Special thanks to Whitman College Science Outreach for coordinating and staffing this amazing event!

Wear Blue Day - May 1st. In support of raising awareness about juvenile arthritis.

STEM Students Visit Whitman College

BR 5th Graders lived the College life for the day on Friday, April 3rd. Furthering their interest in STEM, students experimented with a water table, microscopes, and learned what it actually takes to study for a career in STEM. Thanks to Whitman College Science Outreach!
